A Trip to British Colombia!!

Well, as most of you probably know by now, Mom and Dad went and left me so they could have a week all to themselves, in CANADA!! So, while I was working tirelessly to nurse poor Grandpa back to health after his surgery (and let me tell you how much work that was!) they were off skiing and having a good time without me! Isn't that just like them!! But I've got a secret about Mom! She missed me so much that she couldn't even go a day without calling to talk to me on the phone!!!

I guess I can't say that I got nothing out of their trip. They did bring me back a pretty green backpack with one of the Olympic Mascots on it and a cow bell! I can make lots of noise with that!!

Here's a picture of the Peak 2 Peak gondola. It is massive! Here, they were on Whistler Mountain and you're looking across the canyon at Blackcomb Mountain.

This one is looking down toward the Village and across the valley to the mountains on the other side.

These two pictures are of the Black Tusk. Mom says it was quite an impressive peak, visible from the top of Whistler.

This is what all the trees that were tall enough to poke out of the snow on the top looked like. Aren't they so pretty?!

This is the top of Blackcomb Mountain, the start of the Blackcomb Glacier.

Blackcomb Glacier is the first glacier Mom has ever skied. Dad also too, her skiing out of bounds for the first time here (and now, that isn't anyone you know in the picture, just a random skier who skied into the picture as Mom was taking it).

This is Mom and Dad on top of the glacier before they skied down. Isn't it beautiful!! And don't they look like twins? I can't believe that Mom talked Dad into wearing the same jackets for the whole week!

Yep, that is a snow covered lodge on top of Whistler. Crazy how much snow they had up on top!

Mom and Dad inside the Peak 2 Peak. They were 1500 ft. of the ground!! Good thing none of the cables broke!

This is the Inukshuk on top of the Whistler Peak with Mom and Dad. You might recognize him from the Olympics. He's kind of the symbol for the Winter Games this year.

Well, that's what Mom and Dad did while I was in Vernal for a week! Lucky them! Hope all of you enjoy the pictures! Looking at them is almost as good as being there in person! Wouldn't you agree?!! Maybe next time they will take me along with them!!
