From Broken Head to Broken Arm!

Well, as some of you know, I've had quite a month!! It all started when I fell out of a chair at a restaurant and hit my head pretty hard on the floor. I was okay afterwords, but apparently, my fall resulted in a nice skull fracture. I got to go down to Primary Children's Hospital and have a CT scan done. It was a little crazy!! They bundled me all up so I couldn't move, strapped my head into a restraint and then blew bubbles at me! I have to admit though, that the bubbles were pretty sweet, so I cooperated and let them take a picture of my head!

Well, that was a month ago, and currently, I've had another great adventure! I broke my arm! Mom and Dad went backpacking last weekend, and while they were gone, I was running around at Grandma and Grandpa Judds' new cabin and I fell and broke my left wrist. Ouch! But I'm okay now. I spent Sunday afternoon at the hospital getting an X-ray of my wrist. It wasn't as bad. Dad was with me and we were done pretty quick. Anyway, here are some pictures from the adventure!

This is Saturday after Mom and Dad got back. Dad was letting me draw on his computer, but my wrist really hurt, so I wasn't too interested.

Here's a picture of my splint. I didn't mind it very much at all...it actually helped my arm feel better. But, it does makes some things, like eating for example, a little tricky!

This is another picture of the splint. I definitely makes playing a little more interesting as well, but don't worry! I've become a One-Hand-Wonder!

Here, I'm just posing for the camera...AGAIN. I decided that I'd pretend to be asleep! Maybe if I can't see the camera, it can't see me!

This is the first picture of my cast! I'm getting ready for a bath if you can't tell (why else would Mom and Dad strip me down to almost naked in a frigid house that doesn't have a working furnace!!) but I think my cast is pretty sweet! And it's waterproof, so I can still take my bath and not have to put my arm in a bag!

Really, I think Mom is jealous of my new fashion! She's always wanted a cast! I think once when she was younger, she even asked Santa Clause for a broken arm, just so she could get a cast! Crazy Mom anyway!!

At least she won the battle about the color! Dad wanted me to have purple or some girly color...but Mom insisted on orange. She claimed it was because it is Halloween time, but seriously, we all know that it is her favorite color! Who's she kidding!
