Last week Lydia and I went on an adventure to the Hogle Zoo with our friends Buffy and Eli.

And we even wore our hat so that we wouldn't get sunburned!

We saw all kinds of animals--giraffes, monkeys, penguins, elephants, gorillas, tigers and a lot of others. Here, back in the corner that is all black, there are a couple of American Black Bears!

These are two more bears that seemed to be relaxing together and enjoying all the sunshine!

And we even got to ride on the carousel!! It was awesome!!

So a couple Sundays ago, we went on a walk around the Kaysville ponds--USU has done a lot of work with them. Anyway, we came to a small path that had the concrete separated by strips of small gravel...and well, Lydia loved it!

I suppose I need to teach her the difference between M&M's and pebbles! It was amazing how quickly the pebbles went from the ground to being in her mouth!

Then we walked a little more....

And found some more pebbles after the next concrete pad!!

And just to be sure, we had to taste them too! I wonder if they were as good as she made them out to be!!!
