So, no, Lydia's finger isn't really stuffed up her nose to her knuckle!! It just looks that way! I can't remember what exactly she was eating here!

And of course, soccer is going to be our favorite sport!!! She's already eating it up!!!

And here she is with the Strawberry!! How old is this thing anyway? She loves to pull herself up to it and pull out any toy she can reach! Luckily, she can't pull enough out to tip it over onto herself yet!

So the other day, I was trying to get my kitchen cleaned up, and Lydia was of course following me around pulling on my pant leg. She was sooooooo tired, but I couldn't get her to settle down and take a nap for me! I was getting so irritated, that I tried to hold her one more time, and when that didn't work, I just set her down with some toys and ran to the kitchen, hoping to get a couple more dishes loaded before she found me again and was hanging on my leg!
Well, after a couple of minutes, I finally realized that it was quiet...too quiet...and that I didn't have a little girl attached to my leg. So, I walked into my living room and found her out for the count! After I set her down, she didn't cry or anything!!! She just laid down and took a nap! I just thought she was too cute in these pictures!
Ahhhhh...I have the cutest kid in the world!
She is pretty darn cute. Now there is one advantage to having a house instead of an appartment. You can put the kid down in one room and run into another for a minute before they find you. In an appartment it is about 10 seconds:)
ReplyDeleteToo true! I never thought about that! Even a few extra seconds can go a long way with a little on on the loose!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I miss the "lay down wherever I'm tired and take a nap" days! I think I got so much more done when my girls were younger...or maybe that's just my excuse :P
ReplyDeleteI probably shouldn't tell you how much Karissa stares at your pictures...
